An outstanding form of chartered accountants based Blackburn, are seeking to recruit due to expansion an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior or Semi-Senior to join the audit and accounts team.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of UK audit experience and be either working towards or completed their ACCA or ACA qualification.
The role will include leading a variety of accounts preparation, audit work and tax assignments as part of our audit and accounts team, the role is split about 60% accounts, 40% audit and 10% tax.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for controlling assignments as they proceed to ensure work is completed on a timely basis within an agreed budget.
The role would include supervision of junior staff, providing them with assistance when required and reviewing of their work.
Experience of the following computer packages is advantageous but not essential; Iris; Excel; Word; Sage Line 50; QuickBooks. Good verbal and written skills are essential.
