Management Accountant

With great commuter links from the M6 my client, a well established manufacturer are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their team. Ideally the Management Accountant will have strong experience in manufacturing and be confident in communicating with non-financial colleagues.

As Management Accountant your duties in principle will include :

• Weekly preparation of Profit and Loss report and distribution to management with accuracy and efficiency
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Assist with the annual budgeting process
• Maintain the product costings system
• Work closely with colleagues both locally and Group and provide cover for all duties as required
• Play a key role in the annual statutory audit

A key part of this position will be spent using a bespoke IT System and the Management Accountant will play a key role in the system upgrade. The successful Management Accountant will have strong IT skills along with advanced Excel.
