An incredible opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountants looking to expand their skills and join a growing wholesaler based in Bamber Bridge. Established nearly 50 years ago, my has a strong foothold in their market and are wanting to bring on new talent to add to the business. You will be reporting to the Financial Accountant who has been there for nearly 3 decades!

Your role:

· Updating and reconciling financial ledgers

· Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets for the company

· Preparing financial documents such as purchase orders and bank statements

· Verifying company expenses, bank deposits, and bank payments

· Reporting discrepancies, mistakes, or potential fraud to senior management

· Complying with financial laws and regulations alongside in-house policies

· Keeping their personal accounting qualifications up to date

· Researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely fashion

Person Specification:

· Hold or studying AAT Level 4 or equivalent

· Experience in a similar role

· Proven track record of longevity

· High attention to detail

· Ability to work individually
