Agility is again working with a fantastic returning client who due to continued growth is now seeking an HR Officer to join their friendly and busy HR Team based in Lancaster.

As the HR Officer, you will be responsible for activities relating to onboarding, change management, employee relations, absence management and offboarding.

You will provide advice and responses to queries regarding HR policy and procedure within the organisation and supports initiatives to enhance employee engagement and performance levels. You will also manage the HRIS and work with our payroll function to ensure organisational and legislative requirements are met.

Some examples of the day-to-day duties are:

• Be the first point of contact for all HR queries
• Provide guidance to managers on HR matters
• Ensure that company policy and current legislation is followed.
• Escalate any complex matters to the HR Manager.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of the administration
• Undertake all administration relating to the employee onboarding process,
• Assist with the development of organisation policies and procedures as required and support implementation.
• Produce and submit reports on general HR activities i.e. leave reports, training reports etc

The ideal candidate will have:

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience of a range of HR activities,
• Previous experience with HR systems including managing data and reports
• Excellent IT, numeracy, and literacy skills

• Up to £26,000pa DoE
