We are looking for a graduate accountant to join our clients team in Preston City Centre

As a graduate accountant, you will:

- Shadow and assist senior accountants with preparing financial statements, tax returns, audits, budgets, and other accounting tasks

- Learn how to use various accounting software and tools, such as Sage, Xero, and Excel

- Develop your knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices

- Receive feedback and guidance from your mentors and colleagues

- Work towards obtaining a professional qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA, with our study support scheme after completing a 6-month probation period

To be eligible for this role, you will need:

- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in finance, accountancy, maths, economics, or a related analytical field, with a minimum 2:1 grade

- A strong numerical and analytical aptitude, with attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and with clients

- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

- A valid UK work permit
