My client is a well-established manufacturing company that produces high-quality products for various industries. They are looking for a part qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team and report to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis
- Supporting the Financial Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and audit requirements
- Providing business partnering and financial support to various departments and managers
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and cost savings initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A part qualification in accounting, such as CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in management accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in using BI tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
