As we continue to expand, they are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Accountant to join their finance team. Position Overview:
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Managing Director with various accounting tasks and gaining hands-on experience in financial management. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, ambitious, and has a strong desire to progress to a leadership role, ultimately aspiring to become a Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Support the finance team in audits and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Newly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
