My client is currently looking for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to work in their Skelmersdale site; which is situated near Ormskirk and Wigan. This role will be working for a fast growing company, who are experiencing extremely high month on month growth. This opportunity would be full time working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role for a confident and innovative individual who likes to think outside the box and who can really put their own stamp on the role/company. On offer is a highly competitive salary plus study package, 28 days holiday amongst other benefits. This role will involve training on the following responsibilities which will include:

  • Processing hire purchase/sales invoices
  • Credit control
  • Sending out letters to overdue customers
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Paying suppliers
  • Allocating cash received and cheques issued.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Sorting out account customer queries
  • Daily banking of cash
  • Preparing daily reports for bank
  • Preparing monthly reports for management accounts
