My client; a rapidly growing multi-national organisation, who have offices in both Dubai and the USA, are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant in the Swinton area; which is situated near Bolton and Manchester. This opportunity would be full time working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis and you will be working directly alongside the Finance Director. Responsibilities within this role would be;

  • Maintaining Sales Ledger Accounts- Preparation of monthly fee invoices/Direct Debit payments & manual cash payments, allocations
  • Credit Control - Reporting against Aged Debtors, liaising with other departments to achieve cash collections targets achieved
  • Maintaining Purchase Ledger Accounts - Collating monthly overhead invoices, nominal coding, distribution for authorisation, preparing payments/allocations
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Bank Reconciliation's
  • Staff expenses - reconciling, authorisation, payments
  • Monthly management accounts and audit

Highly advantageous skills would be:

  • Excel knowledge
  • Sage 50
