Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000
Location: Manchester, M6
Agility is excited to be working with a fast-growing retail company in Salford, they are looking for their next Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small finance team of 4 supporting the Purchase Ledger Manager.
The duties of this role are:
- Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
- Process business expense returns
- Cashbook and petty cash cheques
- Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
They are looking for someone who has:
- An aptitude for IT- knowledge of software packages like Excel, Sage and BACS
- Purchase Ledger experience
- Self-discipline
- Good team working skills
- The ability to work to monthly deadlines
