Job Title: Finance Assistant

Agility is delighted to be working with a well-established energy company based in Salford, they are looking for their next Finance Assistant (mainly Purchase Ledger) to join their team of 6, reporting into the Financial Controller.
- Responsibility for the purchase ledger, including booking all invoices, matching, and coding invoices.
- Complete monthly payment run.
- Process of expenses, process and weekly payments.
- Ensure excel skills reach an excellent standard through relevant training and experience.
- Any other duties as and when required.
- Ensure that strategies, control policies and procedures are adhered to.
- A commitment to health and safety practices following all procedures and using judgement within the confines of the applicable laws.
- Previous Purchase Ledger experience (required)
- Have the ability to use own initiative.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Sound knowledge of IT systems and accounting packages.
- Good attention to detail and record keeper.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Flexible and professional approach to work.
- Honest and reliable.
