Accounts Assistant

Description

A diverse group of companies with their head office based just outside Morecambe are looking to recruit an AAT Qualified / Part Qualified Accounts Assistant to join their team.

As Accounts Assistant you will join a friendly and ambitious team and will report to a Qualified Finance Manager who has a proven record in staff development.

The duties of the Accounts Assistant will include :

• Preparing and inputting supplier payments onto Sage
• · Processing sales and purchase invoices onto Sage.
• · Establishment and maintenance of supplier accounts.
• · Reconciliation of supplier statements, petty cash and bank accounts.
• · Preparation of VAT returns.
• · Nominal ledger posting and reconciliation.
• · Ad-hoc administration duties.

Study support will be available for ongoing professional qualifications along with 25 days holiday, on site parking and company bonus.
