Management Accountant

Description

Due to continued growth a manufacturing company, based in Kendal are looking to recruit an ambitious and experienced Management Accountant to join the team. You will report to the FC and take a leading part in the development of the team members as well a identifying process and procedure improvements.

A summary of duties will include :

• Responsible for the preparation of the Group consolidated management accounts.
• Budget preparation and cash flow forecasting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including full commentary and analysis
• To take lead of the year end audit
• Management of a small team
• Other ad hoc project work as required by the business

Ideally, a manufacturing background would be ideal but not essential. What is more important is a "can do " attitude and a desire to take ownership and develop this position. In return, my client offers 25 days holiday, pension, Company Bonus as well as a potential study package if required.
