Assistant Accountant

I am delighted to be working alongside a family run business of 50 years who are looking for a part-qual/QBE Assistant Accountant to be based at their head office in Haslingden, Rossendale.

Due to rapid growth, this is an exciting time for the business and for the right candidate to help shape the organisation moving forwards.

Core responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Complex and large reconciliations
• Posting month end journals
• Calculate complex month stock journals
• Reconcile month end margins at department level
• Bank and control account reconciliations
• Calculate and post intercompany transactions

Someone from an FMCG background with stock control experience would be beneficial, however this is by no means a deal breaker.
