Credit Controller

My client in Didsbury are looking for a Credit Control professional to join their large and busy team. You will manage credit risk across all areas of the business, supporting sales growth whilst minimising bad debt.

Main responsibilities:

• Management of new account processes to include credit check and obtaining credit insurance or appropriate security
• Maintain appropriate credit lines for existing customers to include regular reviews
• Daily order approval for customers with restricted credit headroom, to include obtaining pre-payment where appropriate
• Manage relationships with commercial colleagues and internal customers
• Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary

Good analytical skills and a high attention to detail is required, as is the ability to communicate and influence at all levels. The salary is circa £23,000 with a £2,000 annual bonus. Other perks include 25 days holiday (increasing 1 per year), private medical insurance and worldwide travel insurance.
