Agility Resourcing are very excited to be working exclusively with a growing SME business based in the Blackburn area. Due to continued growth and investment they are looking to introduce a Finance Manager/Management Accountant to head up their accounts function. This is a newly created position and would suit a newly qualified accountant to join a forward-thinking business during this exciting period of growth.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Overall responsibility for finance function including the management of 2 junior members of staff
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentaries and financial statements
- Preparing budgets and forecasting
- Creating and developing business strategies with company directors and shareholders
- WIP, BOM's and stock management
- Involvement in large scale projects
- Maintaining financial administration and internal audit processes
- Developing financial policies and managing process development
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in manufacturing
- Experienced in ERP systems (ideally Sage 200) and Microsoft Excel
- Confident in taking control of an accounts function
- Have a dynamic and forward-thinking approach to work
