Agility is delighted to be working with a multi-award-winning and one of the fastest-growing FMCG companies in the UK. This role is joining a Finance Team of 3 working closely with the Management Accountants and Financial Controller.
They are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role is working in a modern office on the outskirts of Lancaster.

Person Specification…
- Ability to prioritise workloads and achieve tight deadlines working in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of accounting principles gained through experience or qualifications.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
- Studying towards a finance qualification.
- 2 years' experience working in a finance role.
What you will be doing…
- Own the purchase ledger process from end to end.
- Input bank transactions, post bank transactions and report cash balances.
- Reconcile daily sales data against payments received.
- Assisting with month-end procedures and reconciliations.
- Provide cover and support within the wider finance team.
- Query resolution engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete ad-hoc work as needed.
