I am currently working with an established and expanding FMCG organisation based in Leigh who are looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join their organisation on a permanent basis. The organisation currently has a turnover of 60million with ambitious plans for growth, therefore there is fantastic career progression opportunities available. I am looking to speak to candidates who have a background in running the Sales Ledger function and have the ability to work proficiently within strict timescales. Responsibilities within the role are as follows:

Responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of sales invoices
  • Raising credit notes
  • Balancing of incoming receipts such as cash, credit card and BACS
  • Dealing with invoice queries
  • Liaising with customers to set up payment plans
  • Assisting with cash allocation

Person Specification:

  • Previous Sales Ledger experience
  • Ability to process high volumes of invoices to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
