Description

I am currently recruiting for a well-established company based in the Blackburn area who are experiencing year on year growth. They are currently looking for 2x Payroll Administrators to join their team on a full-time (37.5 hours) permanent basis, this is a role with fantastic progression opportunities. They would consider either a graduate candidate or applicants with proven experience in this role. Duties within this role are as follows:

  • Checking how many hours employees have worked
  • Deducting tax and national insurance payments
  • Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay and expenses
  • Calculating overtime, shift payments and pay increases
  • Answering staff queries
  • Issuing p45s and other tax forms
  • Assisting the payroll team with any Adhoc tasks
  • Have an understanding of the legislation and rules in areas such as tax payment and exemption.
  • Offer advice on starter information and other queries
  • General administrative work such as filing, photocopying and scanning
