Financial Controller

Description

We are exclusively recruiting for Qualified Financial Accountant for a growing company based in the heart of Blackpool. As this is a stand alone post, reporting to the MD we can only consider Qualifed ACCA / ACA / CIMA candidates.

This is a fast moving, international business with a current turn-over over £20 million.

You will be responsible for the following :

• Management of the finance team (3 ledger clerks, 1 assistant, 4 credit controllers)
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and assisting year end audit with auditors
• Budgets, forecasts
• Costing analysis/Variance analysis
• Strong management of the cash flows and cash control for the business
• KPI reporting
• Overseeing balance sheet and the profit and loss
• Preparations of VAT returns

Essential skills :

• Strong excel skills
• First class communication
• Strong cash flow experience
• Service industry experience would be ideal but not a pre-requisite
