Our client, a Leading Independent Accountancy Firm, is currently recruiting for a dynamic Semi Senior Accountant

The role

To assist in the preparation of accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders, drafting tax computations, preparing VAT returns, and providing a hands on compliance role that meets or exceeds client expectations

Main duties:

• Monthly Management accounts for the firms larger clients
• Complete client bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Assist with audit planning and fieldwork when required
• Ensures the efficient use of appropriate software packages internally and supporting clients' accounting systems.
• Assists in the preparation of accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders.

The individual:

• AAT Qualified / ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified
• Strong interpersonal and IT skills
• Strong academic background
• Previous practice experience is essential
