An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of Lancashire`s leading professional services businesses as Financial Controller.

This will be a "partnering" role with interaction with many aspects of the business but from a finance perspective the journey the business is on offers fantastic exposure, including:

- Partner with senior staff to deliver financial information and support
- Finalisation and presentation of the monthly management accounts and Board Pack
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of group annual statutory accounts and consolidation
- Management of annual audit
- Prepare draft corporation tax computations
- Review staff payroll
- Review monthly bank report
- Keep up to date balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage a small team
- Oversee the transactional and company secretarial functions
- Ad hoc projects as required

The successful candidate will be:

- Qualified ACA (absolute prerequisite)
- Hard working, driven and ambitious
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with an open, honest style
