Description

A truly entrepreneurial business based on the outskirts of Preston are looking to recruit a Financial Controller. This is an owner managed business and will report into an energetic and highly commercial Finance Director. With turnover approximately £12 million the company operates globally and has a realistic vision to float within the next 12 months.

You will be responsible for :

• Full production of the monthly management accounts pack
• Producing accounts to trial balance
• Bank reconciliation of 4 sterling accounts and 8 currency accounts
• Company payroll for 40 staff including SSP, SMP, p45, p60 and payroll year en
• Multicurrency transactions - International currency exchange
• Maintaining manual fixed asset register
• Assisting with monthly management accounts
• VAT Returns
• Staff management - team of 3

This post will suit ambitious and driven candidates who have aspirations to become FD and can work in an autonomous role.
