Graduate Data Analyst - Burnley

I am currently working with an exciting business that are looking for a bright, driven and likeable character to join their operations and planning team as a graduate trainee. The role is being created to drive succession planning in the business and so they are looking hire and invest in strong graduate talent. They want to train and support the relevant candidate to enable them to progress through the business into many different and exciting business areas and build a long term career.

The key focus of the graduate trainee role will be to fully understand the production processes and supply chain involved within the company and therefore the core responsibilities carried out by the planning team. This will include a large variety of different tasks such as:

• Statistical data analysis and KPI's
• Managing Manufacturing timelines and process
• Project planning
• Project management
• Supporting and managing the automated planning systems
• Communication with production and manufacturing team
• Driving and implementing change and the management of change within the manufacturing team, supply chain and technical teams

The successful graduate will be expected to have the following skills/attributes:

• Strong A-Levels and a minimum 2:1/1st degree in Maths, Economics or Business.
• A high level of analytical and numerical problem solving skills.
• Ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets
• Attention to detail
• Strong Numeracy and understanding of statistics
• Clear & confident communication skills
• Influencing skills and Initiative
• Adaptability
• Ability to work under pressure
