Description
A well established manufacturing business with it's roots firmly established on the Fylde Coast are now looking to expand their accounts team with an additional Accounts Assistant. The newly appointed Accounts Assistant will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible primarily for the Purchase Ledger but will also cover additional duties.
Responsibilities
- Undertake the role as purchase ledger clerk from purchase order through to instructing payment
- Perform multiple daily bank account reconciliations including entering bank transactions into Sage Line 50
- Reconcile petty cash balances on a weekly/monthly basis and enter details into Sage Line 50
- Provide meaningful analysis of various financial activities
- Ensure all system entries are posted both timely and correctly
- General administrative tasks as an when required
Experience
- Previous experience covering Purchase Ledger
- Good knowledge of SAGE Line 50
- Strong attention to detail
