Management Accountant

Well established Manufacturing organisation are looking to recruit an ambitious and driven Management Accountant to join their team at an exciting time. The company are looking to introduce an ERP system and the Management Accounant will be a key player in the implementation team.

Reporting to the Finance Director the role of the Management Accountant will include :

• Prepare the monthly management accounts, investigate variances and perform reconciliations and analyses
• Liase closely with Operation & IT to develop and implement the ERP system especially stock and product costing
• Review investigate month end stock, stock adjustments and WIP
• Develop monthly gross margin reporting and variance analysis
• Develop monthly contract / programme reporting
• Assist in preparing the annual budgets and forecasts
• Other month end tasks as required

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills along with strong IT skills (Excel in particular) and previous experience in ERP implementation would be beneficial. Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
