Exciting opportunity to join a highly acquisitive and profitable organisation who have established themselves as a market leader in their field and due to continued growth my client are looking to appoint an ambitious Finance Manager to pro-actively manage and control the ledger functions of the group.
In a newly created role, reporting to the Finance Director, key Responsibilities will include:
- Effective daily management of the finance function with efficient production of financial information to deadlines
- Work with the Management Accountant to provide relevant information for production of timely and accurate consolidated management accounts to specified and agreed deadline
- Ensure effective working capital management. Daily bank reconciliations and weekly, monthly and future cashflow forecasting
- Ownership of AP and AR ledgers for the company and all subsidiaries
- Oversee invoicing and credit control processes and procedures to ensuring that best practice is observed. Able to make and improve current practices.
- Cashflow modelling, data capture and analysis
- Manage purchase ledger processes and procedures
- Create new and innovative ways of reporting sales and purchase ledger activity across the business and subsidiaries
- Improve financial systems and procedures to maintain and implement the best financial controls
My client will consider either QBE or qualified candidates however the emphasis is very much on the "management" element of this post and MUST be able to demonstrate this at interview. You will also have excellent communication skills, able to interact with all different levels across the wider business.
