Bookkeeper

My client are one of the regions longest established firms and are highly respected in the local area. This firm, based in the heart of Lancaster are looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper to their long standing and successful team.
As a Bookkeeper you will be working with a range of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships and will liaise with them on a daily basis. You will be required to complete VAT returns, bank reconciliations, sales and purchase invoicing as well as ensuring all relevant information is provided.

The firm are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper ideally with a background working within an Accountancy firm although industry candidates will also be considered. You will be up to date on the latest UK legislation in relation to bookkeeping and should be able to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients alike. You should be an organised individual who is able to manage their time effectively and work in an autonomous manner.
