Finance Manager

Agility Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Qualified Accountant for a leading manufacturing company based in Lancaster. As the Finance Manager you will report directly into the Head of Fnance overseeing all aspects of the financial accounting for the business.

The finance team are a strong and dynamic group and would welcome someone who is enthusiastic and able to quickly deliver, as well as fitting in well to the team.

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

• Production and continual development of weekly profit & loss accounts and management information to tight deadlines.
• Variance analysis and support improvement plans
• Maintenance of standard costing system and bill of material
• Full analysis of material and labour with insight into variances
• Product Profitability
• Key member of finance responsible for introducing new methodology to department and business
• Supervise assistant Management Accountant
• Other adhoc work as required

You will be

• Qualified CIMA / ACCA or equivalent.
• Excellent commercial knowledge - FMCG or manufacturing
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent Microsoft skills
• A good commercial mind and not afraid to voice good ideas.
