An exciting full time opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a large Engineering Company located in Blackburn, Lancashire!

You will be reporting directly to the Accounts Manager, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be ambitious, motivated and available for an immediate start!

Key Responsibilities of the role;

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Preparing statutory accounts
  • Daily banking and reporting on excel
  • Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering and queries
  • Managing petty cash transactions
  • Controlling credit and chasing debt
  • Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits

Our ideal candidate will have the following;

  • Excel experience
  • AAT Qualified
  • Experience on Sage/equivalent
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Should have at least 2 years experience as an Accounts Assistant
  • Must have good attention to detail and be able to work under pressure
