Company Accountant

Agility Resourcing are exclusively working with a Construction Compan based in the heart of Preston.

This is a newly creaeted position due to year on year growth and the Directors are seeking a Company Accountant to guide them to their next phase of growth.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance function supporting 2 ledger clerks.

Duties to include :

Control of the accounts payable function including supplier reconciliation, postings, payment runs and handling supplier queries

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Control of the accounts receivable function producing invoices, copy invoices, maintaining the debtor ledger and chasing monies when required
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Bank reconciliations and creating cashflow reports
• Creation of KPI reports
• Recording and providing weekly control account figures to the Directors
• Preparation of accurate monthly Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, + Balance Sheet

The ideal candidate will have strong SAGE skills as well a strong knowledge of IT. On offer are 25 days holiday on-site parking as well flexible working hours.
