Financial Accountant

Agility Resourcing are working with a large business to recruit for a Financial Accountant as an addition to their finance team. The role will suit a qualified accountant with strong financial accounting experience.

Reporting to the Financial Controller the role will be responsible for preparing the month end management and financial accounting, analysing monthly P&L and Balance Sheet variations, assisting in the preparation of year end statutory accounting, preparing and submitting VAT returns, and dealing with any operational accounting queries.

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced accountant who is qualified or at finalist level and has worked in large product based businesses. You will have strong hands on management accounting and balance sheet management experience and a high level of proficiency in Excel. Strong communication skills are also essential. This is a contract role to cover maternity leave. Applicants on up to one months notice will be considered.
