Finance Manager

Description

A well established SME is looking for a Finance Manager to join their office just outside in Preston on a permanent basis. This a diverse role covering financial reporting, credit control, payroll and budgetary planning.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

• preparing financial reports and collating business income and data to managers for forecasting
• ensuring payment of all staff, expenses, supplier invoices, customer refunds and other ad-hoc payments
• ensuring cash-flow and bank statements are up to date and accurate
• reconciling accounts
• credit control
• overseeing the debt management system
• undertaking monthly payroll duties

It is essential that you possess:

• a solid understanding of basic accounting practices
• are part-qualified qualification or qualified by experience
