Senior Management Accountant

Leading Manufacturing company are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance Team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be this opportunity will give the successful candidate great exposure to all aspects of the business including acquistions.

A broad summary of duties will include :

• Production of timely and accurate Management Accounts.
• Lead the month end routines.
• Labour Variance analysis.
• Review of all new costings and margin.
• Calculation of accruals and prepayments to appropriate level.
• Managing pension, payroll taxes and deductions.
• VAT submissions and compliance.
• Assist in the generation of profit improvement informatics by undertaking P&L Analysis - Highlighting trends. Comparison against prior year and budget. Relaying and explaining to management both on a historical and forward looking basis.
• Balance Sheet control and reconciliations.
• Generate ad-hoc information to support the analysis of business performance.
