Financial Controller

Description

A growing, £30m turnover, owner managed business, is recruiting a new, Qualified, ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant in a Financial Controller role. Based on the outskirts of Blackpool my client is a profitable developing business who is seeking a Financial Controller who is looking to progress into a Finance Director role.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will lead a team of 2 accounts assistants. You will help to improve systems and procedures, have forecasting and budgeting control, complete bank management and also deliver and develop the management accounts. Furthermore, you will have excellent commercial awareness as you help shape the companies strategy as part of the senior leadership team.

You will be an ambitious and driven qualified accountant, ACA, CIMA or ACCA with strong business acumen and first rate accounting skills. Finally my client is looking for a progressive individual who will continue to grow with the company with aspirations of being a Finance Director.
