Purchase Ledger Clerk

My client based in Manchester are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their expanding team to start immediately. This is a fast-paced role and as such a lot of changes and updates within the business can be last minute, so being organised and working under pressure is a must, along with very good Excel skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible and adaptable attitude are also equally as important.

Key requirements:

  • Maintaining all operational aspects of the account payable ledger and the specific allocated supplier accounts
  • Responsible for a portfolio of suppliers, with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Handling and resolving queries within a timely manner through effective communication, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Pro-actively seeking to improve or create processes that benefit all involved parties
