Management Accountant

A £12 million turnover Manufacturing company based with great commuter links to the M6 are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant. Reporting to a highly talented and driven Financial Controller and the successful candidate will most certainly benefit from a great mentor..

As Management Accountant a summary of duties will include

• Monthly management accounts preparation, including opportunity to assist in consolidated accounts
• Bank reconcilliations and VAT reporting
• Stock reporting and development of the inventory control systems working alongside key operational staff
• Ad hoc reporting and opportunity to drive cost saving projects

The ideal candidate will be CIMA / ACCA qualfied and will have a solid management accounting and stock reporting experience. You will be comfortable communicating at all levels as this role will require regular interaction with non-finance staff. Experience working in a SME environment would be advantageous as is manufacturing experience.
