Management Accountant

With great commuter links of the Motorway a nationally recognised brand are in a position to recruit a Qualified Management Accountant. The role of Management Accountant will be ideal for a newly qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) or a 1st Time mover from a medium size practice.

You will be working in the FMCG arena, reporting to an Ex-Big 4 FC and working in a team of 4 Management Accountants with the opportunity to develop your own team in the future.

As Management Accountant you will be responsible for :

• The development of the monthly management pack
• Prepare supporting schedules for monthly reporting pack including trends and graphs
• Prepare monthly P&Ls for clients and divisions
• Variance analysis of income, costs and KPIs to budget and/or re-forecast for inclusion in monthly Finance Report
• Produce monthly rolling forecast
• Prepare year end schedules to support audit and preparation of statutory accounts
• Support Financial Controller in the Budget process
• VAT returns including partial exemption calculations
• Responsibility for complex cashflow forecasting
• Business unit profitability analysis
