Finance Manager

A Finance Manager is being sought for a Privately Owned Retail Organisation who, due to year on year growth.

This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Finance Manager who likes working autonomously and enjoys making changes and process impovements.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be a self starter and be responsible for the following areas :Ensuring control in maintained over the financial data

• • Ensuring all ledgers are maintained taking full responsibility for sales and purchase ledger
  • Production of the
  • Maintenance of the online banking system and ensuring accuracy of all payments
  • Responsible for all payroll and working with HMRC
  • Day to day responsibility of the finance department and controlling petty cash and expenses
  • Timely and accurate submission of VAT return
  • Implementation of internal controls
  • Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
  • Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability
  • Maintaining cost accounting system
  • Other ad hoc duties

To be considered for the Finance Manager you MUST be a qualified accountant (ACCA,CIMA,ACA) and previous experience working in a SME environment would be an advantage. IT skills to include Excel and SAGE 50. In return you can expect a competitive salary plus annual bonus.
