Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join a well known and well established Group of Companies based on the outskirts of Kendal. Reporting to an engaging and talented Finance Director you will be part of a small team who are committed to providing support to the wider business.

As Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following :

• Ownership of the month end process, including preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and control, and detailed variance analysis
• Production of monthly financial performance reports for executive review and for quarterly Board reporting
• Bank and cash management, including short-term and long range cash forecasting and balance optimization
• Preparation of the year-end audit files and key point of contact for external auditors
• Support the continuing professional development of other junior members of the Group finance teamCustomer numbers & demand modelling

This opportunity will be a real opportunity for a Newly Qualified Management Accountant to develop and grow therefore the it is expected that the successful candidate will have superb communication skills and be very much a self starter. Advanced Excel skills would also be an advantage as would experience of Navision.
