Graduate Management Accountant

Agility Resourcing is currently partnered with a large industrial who are beginning a graduate program in September by hiring 3 new graduates into their Finance team. They have 3 roles available for Junior Management Accountants. This role will suit graduates who are pursuing study support in CIMA and have a keen interest in Accounting.

This company is privately held however has a turnover in excess of 80 million pounds. This is a large successful business that has a family feel and excellent career progression. So far, they have had over 5 accountants qualify with them in the last 12 months.

The responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Credit control over multiple ledgers
• Cashflow analysis
• Adhoc reporting
• Month end accounting support to the Management Accountant and Financial Controller
• Provide detailed analysis with commentary as needed to show profitability.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Develop methods to gain a greater understanding of the figures in a timely manner.

What we want from you…

• Strong A-Levels (minimum BBB)
• Minimum 2:1 within a numerically based degree i.e. Maths, Accounting, Economics, Business, Psychology, Physics etc.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office product suite, particularly Excel i.e. Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
• Clear, logical analytical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to investigate data, find trends, forecast performance and provide insightful recommendations
