£28000 - £30000 per annum
A thriving business are looking to recruit a highly experienced Payroll Candidate to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be confident in your abilities and be able to demonstrate superb attention to detail.
Duties will include :
Overall responsibility for the processing of payroll
Process improvements, driving improvements to processes and controls, including the introduction of new systems/processes
Processing of monthly payroll and quarterly pensions
Working with HR team to implement company payroll and expense policies
Reconciling PAYE accounts and making payments to HMRC
Dealing with HMRC or external bodies queries regarding payroll
Year-end payroll processing including P60's, P11d's, PAYE settlement agreements
Monthly pension reconciliations and reporting for group and auto-enrolment schemes
Processing payroll deductions
Resolving queries re payroll, expenses and tax
The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of current payroll legislation, strong excel skills and a natural ability to be able to work to tight deadlines.
