Management Accountant

Description

A thriving business based on the outskirts of Lancaster (with great commuter links to the M6) are in the enviable position to be in the process of expanding their team with the recruitment of a Management Accountant.

Reporting to a Dynamic Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following areas :

• ·To assist with the production of month end profit and loss reports and balance sheet.
• ·To assist in the production of the monthly Board packs.
• ·To prepare weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports - highlighting, investigating and reporting on variances.
• ·Preparing WIP, Debtors and Creditors summary schedules.
• ·Maintain site debtors and credit control where necessary.
• ·Reviewing other bespoke reconciliations
• ·To produce and review of project cost reconciliations.
• ·To assist with the preparation of the annual budget.
• ·Assisting with the preparation of financial and regulatory information for internal and external audit purposes.
• ·To prepare VAT returns.

The succesful candidate will have "can-do" attitude with great organisational skills. Experience of system implementation would be an advantage as will Advanced Excel Skills.
