Group Financial Controller

Description

A growing and successful business based in Lancaster are looking for a Group Financial Controller to cover a 12 month Maternity Leave.

As Group FC you will report into the FD and take full responsibility of the Accounts function for the Group and a team of 8.

Duties will include :

• Analysis of information to ensure financial targets / budgets are met
• Manage the annual audit and statutory reports including annual returns.
• Manage internal audits as they relate to the accounts department and ensure financial controls are adhered to and remain effective
• Assist with the annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Development of additional output reports, including P&L and Balance Sheet trends;

The successful candidate will be ACCA / CIMA Qualified and have an ability to "hit the ground running". It is expected that the contract will run for at least 13 months. The client offers flexible home working and the office location has superb commuter links to the M6.
