HR Business Partner

Lancashire

£40,000 DOE

Working in an exciting not-for-profit organisation you will ensure a cohesive people service to the business in a central support function. You will drive forward a consistent values-based approach to developing a nurturing high-performance culture and contribute to the growth of the business through a people focus.

The position will sit within the Senior Leadership Team with shared responsibility for ensuring good governance of the business.

This will initially be a standalone role with the aim of creating a central HR team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure performance framework delivery.
  • Support managers to manage their teams.
  • Provide advice and guidance for Team related issues.
  • Lead or support Disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Be a trusted advisor.
  • Maintenance of staff contracts/handbook to current legislation (with support from external advisor)
  • Ensure legally up-to-date employment letters are used.
  • Ensure all employment communication is checked and authorised.
  • Ensure delivery of HR data for Operations Meetings.
  • Oversee HR admin resources (where applicable)
  • Implement an electronic HR system with support from IT project team.
  • Take leadership responsibility for recruitment and retention,
  • Help reduce recruitment cycle time.
  • Improve team retention
