Are you keen to become an expert in the field of data and want to work within a rapidly growing analysis team that offers great progression?

For this role, you will be responsible for the creation, development, and operations of quantitative models to support the gas and electricity supply businesses, primarily relating to demand forecasting, pricing, and trading.

This role offers progression and within 5 years could see you as a team manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • A proactive approach to creating models and data analysis supporting the gas and electricity supply business.
  • Development and improvement of demand forecasting and pricing models as business dynamics change.
  • Present results in a variety of formats depending on the audience.
  • Be responsible for the data analysis for the energy supply business.
  • Be required to create models to support the business and have the ability to develop these as

The Candidate

  • Educated to degree level in any analytical subject: Physics, Economics, Maths, Computer Science or similar related subjects which will highlight your ability to analyse extensive amounts of data
  • Proficiency with Excel is a must as you will be using this to construct reports.
  • Strong and clear communication skills as this will help explain your ideas across all areas of the business.
  • Outstanding attention to detail as you will be analyzing tremendous amounts of data.
