Tax Assistant Manager (Incentives & Reliefs)

A top 15 professional Services company in the UK is now seeking a Tax Assistant to join them. They offer a comprehensive career path along with an industry leading salary and 10% bonus.

The role is focused on completing Tax Incentives & Relief claims to primarily Owner Managed Businesses. The individual will be expected to review the financial and technical report sections of the claims and to review Corporation Tax compliance work (all necessary training will be provided).

The key duties of this role are as follows:-

• Support the Incentive and Reliefs Team in the continued role of preparing predominantly Research & Development tax relief claims for Haines Watts clients around the UK
• Review technical reports and financial details for a range of tax incentives and reliefs for manager/partner review.
• First review of Corporation Tax Computations prepared by Seniors/Executives ready for final manger review.
• Update internal CRM system with progress of individuals workflow (primarily review and benefit sections)
• Oversee the internal HW office relationship with those offices allocated to them.
• Attend client meetings (specifically new client meetings)
• Manage their own client portfolio of around 150 clients in which they are initial and first contact.
• Calculate fee and ensure fees are recorded by the end of the month for billing.
• Identify new opportunities in offices which they oversee.
