A great opportunity is available for a well established Kendal company who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant. This role is offering ultimate flexibility and can support candidates who want a mix of office / home working over 4 days. Ideally, the Accounts Assistant will be AAT Qualified or QBE and have previous experience working in a similar role.
Duties :
- Purchase Ledger processing invoices
- Reconciliation of weekly bank statements
- Scanning, matching, and entering purchase order invoices
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Downloading monthly Barclaycard
- Scanning and entering purchase expense invoices, ensuring they are coded correctly
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Supporting the finance team when required to ensure all finance tasks are completed when necessary
- Other ad hoc duties when needed
Person specification:
- Good knowledge of SAGE
- Working to deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows packages
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills and be able to manage a busy workload independently
- Being able to work on your own as well as being a team player
