Description
Agility are working with a fantastic returning client looking for a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to start ASAP and with the potential opportunity to be made permanent in the role. For this role you must have experience in within Purchase Ledger to be able to hit the ground running and help the department from day one.
What you will be doing:
- Raising purchase orders for multiple departments in line with company process for budgeted costs. Management of all suppliers including collation of payment runs in line with credit limits ensuring smooth operation for business-critical providers.
- Proactive approach towards maintaining low level of outstanding documentation to avoid all back logs.
- Fast paced accounts email to be monitored daily providing accurate responses or direction to the correct department.
- High level of accuracy required to maintain all reconciliations for ledgers, bank accounts and petty cash.
- A tight workflow with strict processes requires excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure business requirements are met in a timely and effective manner.
- All ad hoc requests to be dealt with accordingly including supporting the wider finance team with detailed data reports.
