Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant
Salary: Up to £30,000
Location: Manchester, M15
Agility is delighted to be working with a returning client that specialises in digital growth and innovation. They are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant looking for their next opportunity.
This role is reporting into the Financial Accounting Manager, this role will be a key position in the Management Accountant team, and you will be preparing monthly management accounts, financial analysis and other ad hoc tasks.
What you will be doing:
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for the UK Group, including:
- Perform monthly revenue reconciliation.
- Perform monthly cost reviews, ensuring that costs are correctly accounted for and prepaid or accrued where required.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review by the Management Accountants
- Update the fixed asset register with monthly capital expenditure additions and post depreciation
- Complete bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Update the daily bank balances for the UK Group.
- Update the prior week's actual cash flow to assist with the preparation of the cash flow forecast
- Prepare information for and assist in the completion of the annual external audit.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests from the wider finance team
- Prepare monthly sales commission calculations and liaise with sales team to answer any queries

- Experience of working with an accounting system
- Good communication skills
- Relevant accounting experience, understanding of double-entry
- Can do attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Degree level qualification ACCA or CIMA exam support provided
